When Harm is done in the community, we need Healing in order to restore Hope.
What is
H3 is a coalition of organizations, businesses, and individuals in Champaign County dedicated to ending community violence. Our members offer resources and continuous support to tackle the multifaceted issues of violence, poverty, and injustice facing our community. Too often, small nonprofits and businesses encounter obstacles that hinder their growth into thriving, sustainable entities. H3 fosters grassroots relationship-based capacity building to address the unique needs of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) communities in Champaign County. We promote collaboration and information sharing, working together to enhance each member's impact to effectively navigate these barriers to creating successful futures.
All classes of people under social pressure are permeated with a common experience; they are emotionally welded as others cannot be. With them, even ordinary living has epic depth and lyric intensity and this, their material handicap, is their spiritual advantage.

ALAIN LEROY LOCKE
The community groups, grassroots agencies and small minority-owned businesses, we collaborate with are developing some of the most effective solutions to the complex challenges in our area. However, they encounter significant obstacles that can hinder the ability to build thriving, sustainable organizations. Our relationship-based capacity-building approach aims to help overcome these barriers and obstacles.
